Gochujang Chicken Bibimbap
Ingredients:
- 150g Ayam Brand™ Pulled Chicken Spicy Korean Gochujang Sauce
- 2 cups cooked short-grain rice
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 carrot, cut into thin strips
- 1 cucumber, half cut into thin strips & half into thin slices
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 4-5 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup spinach
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Preparation:
- Boil bean sprouts briefly (2 mins) and spinach (30 secs) drain and toss with sesame oil and salt. Sauté carrots (2 mins) and mushrooms with soy sauce (2 mins). Keep cucumber raw.
- Heat pulled chicken in a pan for 1-2 minutes until slghtly caramelised. (Or serve straight from can).
- Brush bowl with sesame oil, add warm rice. (For crispy rice: use a stone pot on medium heat for 3-5 minutes until crackling).
- Arrange veggies in colourful sections around it. Sprinkle sesame seeds. Place chicken on the centre.
- Mix everything together before eating! Serve with lettuce leaves and extra gochujang on the side.
